About Casa Búzios
Completely renovated! Brand new, top-of-the line kitchen featuring Bosch appliances and new bathrooms. Welcome to our new home! Spectacularly and comfortably furnished, our house is located just 1.5 short blocks from the uncrowded South Bethany beach and on a canal with access to the ocean.
From Memorial Day through Labor Day we generally only accept weekly rentals (please send us an inquiry to see if we can accept a long weekend rental during this time). Our standard check-in is at 4:00 pm (or later) with checkout by 10 am.

A full run of the house. Also available for your use are two kayaks that can be launched into the canal from the backyard!
Other things to note
Please note: linens and towels are not included in the rental. If you would like to rent linens for your stay, we can refer you to a local agency that provides linens at a reasonable cost.
If you would like to use our boat (21ft Wellcraft Dual Console with 200HP Yamaha, which can accommodate up to 8 passengers and includes all life preservers and a wakeboard), it is available for rent so please send us an inquiry. If you would like to bring your own boat and use the boat lift, we will arrange to have our boat removed for $500.

Bedroom 1: Primary Master Suite includes a comfy new tempurpedic King bed, 50" flatscreen TV and built-in surround sound speakers, and a private bathroom with heated floors (first floor)
Bedroom 2: Secondary Master Suite includes a comfy new tempurpedic Queen bed and private bathroom (second floor)
Bedroom 3: Queen Bed (second floor)
Bedroom 4: Double bunk bed with brand new mattresses (second floor)
Bedroom 5: Queen Bed (first floor)
There is also a Queen-sized pull-out couch in the first-floor living room.

- Separate living area on the second floor with a 65" flatscreen TV, built-in surround speakers, and bar area with ice maker and beer refrigerator. The second living room also has a very comfortable pull-out Queen-sized sleeper sofa (perfect for kids and younger guests!)
- House has central air-conditioning/heat and all rooms have ceiling fans so you can leave the windows open and enjoy the cool ocean breezes
- 3 separate decks with dining tables, chairs, hammock, and professional grade Weber gas grill

You literally get the best of both worlds: a less than 5 minute walk to the ocean and direct access out the back door to boating, kayaking, crabbing or fishing. Downtown Bethany Beach, with boardwalk, shops, and great dining is also just a short bike ride away.
Getting around
The beach and town are accessible by walking and bike. There is also a convenient and inexpensive bus which runs between Rehoboth Beach/Dewey Beach/Bethany Beach/Fenwick Island/Ocean City, MD which can be accessed at a convenient bus stop located just 4 very short blocks from the house.

Additional rules
- From May 15 - September 15, with few exceptions, we only accept weekly rentals from Friday to Friday.
- CHECK-IN is 4:00 pm or later. No early check-in or late check-out unless agreed to in writing by owner.
- CHECK-OUT is 10:00 am SHARP. Guests that stay longer will be charged $100 fee if our cleaners need to wait for access to the house!
- Primary renter must be 25 years of age or older
- This is a NON SMOKING unit.
- Pets, drugs, and candles are NOT permitted.
- We supply pillows, comforters, and blankets, but you must bring your own linens, towels, soaps and paper products.
- FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS: any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in.
- WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.
- HURRICANE OR STORM POLICY
– No refunds will be given unless: a) The National Weather Service orders mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area" and/or b) A "mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area of residence of a vacationing guest. The day that the National Weather Service orders a mandatory evacuation order in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning," area, we will refund: 1. Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered 2. Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten their stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and 3. Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period.
- DAMAGE/RESERVATION DEPOSIT - Fully refundable provided the following provisions are met: a) No damage is done to unit or its contents, including heavy soiling of carpets, furniture or other items, beyond normal wear and tear. b) No smoking occurs in the home or on the porch. c) No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay. d) All pots, pans, utensils, and other cooking items, dishes and silverware, that have been used are washed, dried and returned to their original locations before you vacate the house. e) All lights and appliances are turned off, ceiling fans (in house & porch) are turned off, windows closed and doors are locked when you vacate the house. f) The extra set of keys and key to the shed are placed back on key hooks in the kitchen. g) No early check-in or late check-out. - By booking the property, you agree to all terms and conditions of this agreement.
